INDUS IMAPCT along with AFPRO initiated a project “Kartavya– Responsible Consumption of Alcohol” in 10 selected villages of Ludhiana, Punjab as a pilot. Under this program our team spread awareness within the rural communities of Ludhiana about the implications of excessive alcohol consumption. The program fosters behavioral changes that prioritizes individual, family, and community well-being about the effects of irresponsible consumption of alcohol. This project was supported by United Breweries Limited.
The program’s primary objective was to facilitate an informed understanding within the rural communities of the selected villages of Ludhiana, Punjab about the implications of excessive alcohol consumption. The program aimed to create awareness about the importance of moderation in alcohol intake and to foster a behavioral change that prioritizes individual, family, and community well-being.
