well-being of the elite Special Forces of the Indian Army. This initiative ensures that the dietary
needs of soldiers are met, supporting their rigorous training and operational demands.

program’s success.
Nutritional Assessments and Care Plans: The Indian Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (IAPEN) conducted detailed nutritional assessments and developed customized care plans tailored to the unique needs of the Special Forces. This included personalized dietary recommendations, field ration optimization, and continuous evaluation of the nutritional interventions.
Training and Awareness: IAPEN also spearheaded the development of educational content and conducted awareness sessions for both soldiers and dietary staff, emphasizing the importance of nutrition in overall health and performance.
Operational Support: The Parachute Regiment facilitated the implementation of the program, providing necessary resources, coordinating training sessions, and offering feedback on the effectiveness of the nutrition care plans.
